    Storing Finished Soaps

    Storage Location:

    • Keep in a cool, dry place – Avoid direct sunlight, humidity, and heat sources. A bathroom cabinet, closet shelf, or pantry works well.
    • Avoid moisture – Do not store in steamy bathrooms or damp areas, as this can cause "sweating" (a waxy film on the soap surface).
    • Temperature – Ideally 60-70°F. Avoid hot spots where soaps may sweat or crack.

     

    Container Tips:

    • Allow air circulation – Store soaps loosely in a breathable container or on a shelf (not sealed). This prevents condensation.
    • Paper wrapping – Wrap finished soaps in kraft paper or tissue paper to protect them while allowing moisture to escape.
    • Avoid plastic – Do not seal in plastic bags or containers, as this traps moisture.
